Announcement for the 2016 World Tafl Federation Tournament

An initial announcement has been made about the World Tafl Federation's 2016 tournament, an online tournament hosted at Aage Nielsen's hnefatafl web site.  The tournament starts on 1st September and will have two rounds, each using a different set of rules.

For the first time, the first round of the tournament will be Tablut, the last historic version of hnefatafl recorded in 1732, though the board size and layout is still under discussion.  The second round will use the modern Copenhagen Hnefatafl Rules, which have been the Federation's standard for the past few years.
