Hnefatafl Games On Sale

Cyningstan has expanded its range of hnefatafl games. Already suppliers of the brandub, we now make the larger tablut and tawlbwrdd games too. These games are made of wood, with coloured glass pieces kept in a black drawstring bag. An A5 booklet with each set gives the rules and a brief history.

The board markings on these games have been deliberately kept to a minimum, in order that you can play alternative rules with different starting postions, without having redundant board markings ruining the aesthetics of the game. Corners are marked on all boards, despite some of the games not using them. So our tawlbwrdd is ideal for practising your Fetlar hnefatafl skills!
