New Site for Hnefatafl

This site, formerly "Tafl: an Obsession", has been renamed and redeveloped. The site deals exclusively with the Norse game of Hnefatafl. Originally designed in 2004, the site was looking a bit old and tired, but was still being well-used. Especially popular is the embedded applet that allows visitors to play against the computer using mix-and-match rules.

Now the site has been updated with a more modern look, and the new design will allow extra material to be added easily as new research becomes available. Currently most of the information has come from the old site, but future plans include catalogues of on-line finds, modern versions of the game, and possibly a bibliography.
