Hnefatafl Web Site Update

The web site Hnefatafl: the Game of The Vikings was updated yesterday. As well as some small design changes, there are some new features of the site that provide a better experience for visitors.

Overall navigation is easier now, as there are drop-down menus.  Hover your mouse on the top menu bar, and most of the options will reveal drop-down menus with more options.  These were previously in a box on the left of each page; that space has been freed up to give more room for images and content.

Comments have been improved.  When you leave a comment now, you can choose to be notified of replies by email.  No longer will you have to keep checking back to see if anyone has answered you; hopefully this will stimulate more discussion on the web site.

There are other improvements too.  The site can now handle forthcoming events, so I have begun adding those to a new Forthcoming Events page.  Please let me know if there is a hnefatafl event you would like to see covered.  There is also provision for video; though there is no video on the site at present, I hope to add video content in the future.
